Meet PR Agent: Hivekind’s New AI Tool for Real-Time Media Intelligence in Asia
The firm claims early adopters have reported an 80% reduction in report generation time.
Singapore-based Hivekind has launched "PR Agent," an autonomous comms worker designed to help B2B technology firms in Asia manage media relations and reputation monitoring.
The tool, currently in private beta with 12 early adopters across cybersecurity, retail technology, and logistics sectors, operates continuously to track media coverage, identify narrative shifts, and generate actionable PR opportunities.
Early adopters of PR Agent have reported an 80% reduction in report generation time, according to Hivekind. The tool forms part of the company's broader Agentic Growth System, which automates marketing, sales, and operations support by monitoring media outputs and AI-generated content.
PR Agent's capabilities include benchmarking share of voice, detecting emerging themes, automating media commentary, generating press releases, and tracking competitor coverage. The system links real-time intelligence from diverse sources to help brands respond quickly to reputation threats or market opportunities.
The launch comes as the Asia Pacific AI agents market is projected to mushroom from US$1.3 billion in 2024 to US$14.15 billion by 2030, representing a compound annual growth rate of 49.5%. China, Japan, and India are driving 68% of this regional growth.
Enterprise adoption is accelerating rapidly. A KPMG AI Pulse Survey found that AI agent deployments quadrupled in 2025, reflecting growing confidence in autonomous systems for specialized business functions. Machine learning currently dominates the APAC AI agents landscape, though deep learning tech is experiencing the fastest growth.
Hivekind faces competition from established players like Microsoft and AWS, which lead AI agent platforms in Asia with an emphasis on observability and safety controls. Specialized reputation management tools such as TheBestReputation, SentimentIQ, and WhiteBridge AI also offer real-time multilingual monitoring across fragmented Asian media landscapes.
The timing aligns with shifting B2B purchasing patterns. According to Hivekind, 85% of B2B buyers prioritize trust and brand recognition when evaluating vendors, while 89% now incorporate generative AI tools into their buying process.
This creates pressure on technology firms to shape market perceptions before formal sales discussions begin.
PR Agent aims to address this by automating routine communications tasks while maintaining strategic oversight. The tool helps brand marketers comment on breaking news relevant to a company's sector and monitors how competitors are positioning themselves in media coverage.
The platform's ability to process multilingual content is also relevant for Asian markets, where companies often need to track narratives across Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and multiple Southeast Asian languages simultaneously. This addresses a gap in many Western-developed PR tools that struggle with Asian language complexity and regional media fragmentation.
Hivekind has not disclosed pricing or broader availability timelines for PR Agent beyond its current private beta phase.
