European Creative Agency Leavingstone Enters Asia via Katashe Partnership

Leavingstone, a European full-service creative agency, announced its entry into Asian markets on February 11, 2026, through a partnership with Singapore-based venture builder Katashe. The move marks the agency's first expansion into the region.

Award-Winning Agency Targets Asia Through Venture Builder Model

The partnership represents an alternative expansion strategy for international creative agencies entering Asia. Rather than opening traditional offices or pursuing acquisitions, Leavingstone will operate through Katashe's accelerator infrastructure, enabling selective collaboration with the venture builder's portfolio companies and clients.

Why Kantar Is Betting on Google Talent to Dominate Southeast Asia
Kantar taps Google's APAC head Rika Sharma as Southeast Asia executive managing director. Strategic hire signals aggressive expansion in region's 3.2% growth FMCG market.

Leavingstone brings credentials from major industry awards including Cannes Lions, Eurobest, EPICA, LIA, and The Webby Awards. The agency specializes in brand, platform, and experience-focused work across creative and digital services.

"Asia is one of the most culturally diverse and dynamic regions in the world, and building strong global alliances is essential to delivering work that is both world-class and locally relevant," said Levan Lepsveridze, Creative Chairman at Leavingstone, who oversees the agency's operations across Europe, North America, and now Asia.

The partnership will focus on what both companies describe as "creative integrity, digital excellence, and cultural fluency" as differentiators in Asian markets.

Katashe's Web3 Focus Creates Unconventional Agency Alliance

Katashe operates as a venture builder specializing in Web2-Web3 integration rather than traditional creative services. Led by blockchain veteran Katherine Ng, the Singapore-headquartered firm focuses on DeFi, tokenization, identity management, and AI climate technology ventures.

The venture builder's portfolio includes FILLiquid, a decentralized lending platform on Filecoin Virtual Machine, where Ng serves as Chief Sales and Marketing Officer. Other partnerships include DeGate, Noyce Labs for real-world asset tokenization, and vSelf for identity management solutions.

Katashe operates through what it calls a 3C framework: Collaborative Venture Building, Communications, and Consulting. The firm launched regionally at Southeast Asia Blockchain Week in Bangkok before announcing the Leavingstone partnership.

"At Katashe, we back businesses we genuinely believe in. Leavingstone has built a strong reputation for creative and digital excellence," said Cheelip Ong, Executive Chairman at Katashe. "This partnership enables us to bring that caliber of thinking to Asia in a way that is both globally informed and locally grounded."

Strategic Entry Without Traditional Office Footprint

The partnership announcement provided no specific timeline, city locations, financial terms, or initial client names. The companies indicated a selective, phased approach to market entry rather than immediate regional expansion.

Katashe has prior experience facilitating European companies' entry into Asian markets, having advised one unnamed Europe-based AI climate technology firm since inception. This background positions the venture builder to support Leavingstone's regional operations without requiring the agency to establish traditional office infrastructure.

Lepsveridze emphasized the evolving relationship between creative services and technology: "We are at a pivotal moment where creativity and digital technology increasingly shape business outcomes, and this partnership marks an important step in advancing that vision."

The alliance enables Leavingstone to access Katashe's network of blockchain and technology-focused ventures while maintaining focus on creative services, representing a hybrid model for international agency expansion into Asia's diverse markets.
