Marketing Society Hong Kong Appoints Two CMOs to Expand Board
Marketing Society Hong Kong expands board with CMOs from Chubb Life and Driscoll's, adding insurance and agribusiness expertise. Board now spans seven industries.
The Marketing Society has appointed Ivy Cheung, Chief Marketing Officer at Chubb Life Hong Kong, and Jiunn Shih, Global Chief Marketing Officer at Driscoll's, to its Hong Kong board, expanding the organization's industry coverage into insurance and agribusiness.
Board Gains Insurance and Agribusiness Representation
The two appointments bring the Hong Kong hub's board to a cross-sector composition that now spans banking, aviation, advertising, public transit, luxury marine, insurance, and agribusiness.

Cheung brings 14 years of experience across regulated industries, including founding team roles at Mox Bank and senior positions at Cathay Pacific, before joining Chubb Life. "I'm honoured to join The Marketing Society board in Hong Kong at a time when our industry has a real opportunity to reset the norm," Cheung said. "I'm passionate about bringing fresh perspectives to the table, challenging comfortable thinking and turning marketing into a force for positive change."
Shih joined Driscoll's in September 2025 as the fresh berry company's first-ever Global CMO. His prior career spans Zespri, Unilever, and L'Oréal across Latin America, Asia, and Europe.
The Hong Kong board is chaired by Nellie Chan, Director at Google Customer Solutions, with Hina Wainwright serving as vice chair.
Appointments Reflect Hong Kong's Expanding Advertiser Base
The Marketing Society's Hong Kong hub counts 157 members, with 86% holding head-of or senior leadership roles. The hub hosted 18 events in 2025 and runs programming on leadership, capability building, and cross-industry exchange.
Hong Kong's digital advertising market reached US$2.26 billion in 2024, growing 8.6% year-on-year. Digital now accounts for 65.7% of all advertising spending in the market.
Banking, financial services, and insurance advertisers maintain a concentrated presence in Hong Kong's premium business districts. Retail and consumer goods brands account for 30.05% of total out-of-home advertising billings in 2025, the largest single category share. The two new board members represent both of these dominant advertiser categories directly.
Healthcare and pharmaceutical advertising is also expanding at an 8.1% CAGR, reinforcing demand for regulated-industry marketing expertise across the board's membership base.
