Sydney Cloud Firm NeonNow Launches AI Platform Across 170 Markets
Sydney's CloudWave rebrands to NeonNow, launching an AI customer experience platform across 170 countries. The move capitalizes on a US$5B market surge in AI-driven CX tools.
Sydney-based cloud communications company CloudWave has rebranded to NeonNow and simultaneously launched a partner-led AI customer experience platform across 170 countries, the company announced in early April 2026.
From Regional Provider to Global Platform in One Move
The rebrand marks a significant shift for a company that operated as a regional cloud communications provider for 13 years. NeonNow now positions itself as a global, usage-based platform enabling resellers and managed service providers to deliver AI-driven voice, messaging, and customer interaction services without upfront infrastructure investment.

NeonNow has opened new offices in the United States, United Kingdom, India, and New Zealand alongside its Sydney headquarters. The platform currently serves over 200 customers and handles billions of interactions annually.
The company spent two years (2024 to 2025) rebuilding its platform into a single unified system built on Amazon Web Services and integrated with Twilio's communications technology. Channel partners can choose to manage implementation themselves or use NeonNow's own delivery infrastructure, with revenue tied directly to customer usage rather than fixed licensing fees.
"For our channel partners, this shift is about removing the complexity that has traditionally slowed deployment and limited scale across markets," said Michael Powrie, Founder and CEO of NeonNow.

A Market Growing by Nearly US$5 Billion in a Single Year
The launch arrives as demand for AI-powered customer experience tools accelerates globally. The global AI-led customer experience market is projected to grow from US$17.75 billion in 2025 to US$22.67 billion in 2026, a single-year increase of approximately US$4.92 billion.
NeonNow's platform incorporates agentic AI technology using large language models (AI systems that can hold conversations and complete tasks independently), CRM adapters, and low-latency security. Frost & Sullivan has identified agentic AI as a category transforming cloud communications through enhanced governance, security, and programmability.
For Asia-Pacific markets, NeonNow's India office is notable. India serves as both a high-growth enterprise market and a key delivery hub for managed service providers operating across the broader region.
Platform Pricing and Partner Recruitment Still Early Stage
NeonNow's AWS Marketplace listings confirm a tiered commercial structure. A QuickStart product for Amazon Connect setup is priced at a fixed US$10,000, with metered subscription options also available.

CEO Powrie has stated a near-term goal to expand NeonNow's Australian partner base from five to 10 partners by the end of 2026, with broader global partner recruitment underway. This indicates that while the platform's 170-market infrastructure is in place, partner density remains in early build-out.
Director Jason Stirling noted: "By embedding onboarding and delivery within the product, we have shifted to a platform-led model that enables faster deployment and consistency across regions."
NeonNow's full platform details and partner information are available through the company's channel network.
