System1 Launches AI-Powered Ad Testing Features Across 81 Markets
System1 launches AI-powered creative measurement features across 81 markets, including Asia-Pacific. Instant Insights and predictive emotional response tools help marketers evaluate ads faster before launch.
System1 launched AI-powered upgrades to its Test Your Ad creative measurement platform on April 9, 2026, introducing two new capabilities designed to speed up how marketers evaluate advertising before it goes live.
The updates are available across the platform's 81-market network, which includes Singapore and Australia.
Two New AI Features Added to Test Your Ad
The first new feature, called Instant Insights, generates an automated summary inside Test Your Ad reports. It surfaces key findings from charts and explains what the results mean, making the data easier to share with non-marketing colleagues.

The second is a predictive AI measurement tool, currently in beta testing across select markets. It estimates how real audiences are likely to respond emotionally to an ad before any consumer panel testing takes place. The tool is trained exclusively on System1's Competitive Edge database, which contains emotional response data from over 100,000 real human reactions to advertisements, updated daily.
System1 is positioning the predictive tool as early directional guidance, not a replacement for consumer-based testing. Its FaceTrace methodology, which measures actual human emotional responses, remains the primary evaluation standard.
Andrew Tindall, Chief Growth Officer at System1, said the company is "investing meaningfully in people, product development and IT so that Test Your Ad remains the most useful and predictive creative measurement tool in the market, combining proven human response, smart and fast AI-powered interpretation."
Four Additional Reporting Upgrades Launched Alongside AI Tools
System1 also released four reporting enhancements with the update. These include Second-by-Second Reasons for Emotion, which links specific ad scenes to audience reactions; Distinctive Brand Assets tracking, which measures how well an ad registers brand recognition; Key Metric Demographics breakdowns; and Glide Navigation for easier report sharing across teams.
These features address a growing expectation among marketers for element-level analysis, identifying which specific scene, audio cue, or visual drove an emotional response, rather than campaign-level summaries alone.
The company also appointed Mohan Taylor as Chief Product and Technology Officer. Taylor brings a background in AI-based product development, signaling System1's intent to deepen AI integration across its platform.
Competitive Pressure Accelerating AI Creative Testing
System1's updates arrive as the AI-powered creative measurement market expands rapidly. Kantar's LINK AI platform currently delivers ad testing results in as few as 15 minutes across digital, TV, print, and out-of-home formats, representing the current speed benchmark in the category.

At the platform level, Meta has integrated AI-enabled creative testing that allows advertisers to simultaneously test tens of different background and text variations for audience personalization. This increases pressure on independent measurement tools to demonstrate emotional insight depth that platform-native tools cannot replicate.
System1's hybrid approach, combining automated AI interpretation with human emotional response data, is designed to address advertiser caution about relying entirely on machine-led scoring.

Asia-Pacific Relevance and Next Steps
For marketers in Singapore, Australia, and other Asia-Pacific markets, System1's existing operational presence means the AI features are immediately accessible within the platform. The predictive tool's specific beta market availability has not been publicly disclosed.
The Competitive Edge database draws on globally calibrated emotional norms, giving predictive estimates for Asian markets a broad training foundation. With Taylor now leading product and technology, market-specific AI calibration is expected to be a near-term development priority.
