Nectar Social, Reddit Launch Data Partnership for Enterprise Brands

Nectar Social gains direct access to Reddit's 24B+ posts via new Data API partnership, enabling enterprise brands to monitor sentiment and trends across 100K+ communities in real time.

Nectar Social, Reddit Launch Data Partnership for Enterprise Brands

Nectar Social, an AI-native social commerce platform, announced a strategic data partnership with Reddit on April 8, 2026, giving enterprise brands direct access to Reddit's Data API and its archive of over 24 billion posts and comments across 100,000+ interest-based communities.

Partnership Unlocks Real-Time Community Intelligence at Scale

Through the agreement, Nectar Social customers can monitor brand conversations, track sentiment shifts, and identify emerging trends across Reddit's platform in real time. Reddit's 121 million daily active users generate one of the largest repositories of unfiltered, experience-driven consumer language available to brand teams.

We Are Social: 95% of Marketers See Social as Critical for Brands
95% of marketers now see social as critical for brands. Here's how to build presence, proof, power, and participation in fragmented ecosystems.

Reddit data integrates directly into Nectar's unified dashboard alongside Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and X, giving brands a single view of cross-channel brand perception without separate monitoring workflows. The platform automatically surfaces relevant discussions and sentiment changes without requiring analysts to manually build and maintain subreddit monitoring lists.

Misbah Uraizee, CEO and Co-Founder of Nectar Social, said the partnership enables brands to "understand in real-time what is being said about their brand, identify the right moments to engage, and build the kind of authentic social proof that drives both discovery and conversion."

Co-Founder and CTO Farah Uraizee added: "What sets Reddit apart is the depth and authenticity of its conversations. Brands need to understand what people are saying and when it matters, not just that they are talking."

The partnership also operates in both directions. Reddit gains access to Nectar's analytics capabilities to better understand its own user base, with new product offerings and enhanced advertising solutions expected from both sides.

Reddit Climbs Social Listening Rankings as API Access Becomes Competitive

Reddit ranked as the third most-used source among social listening professionals in 2024, up from outside the top five in 2023. The rapid rise reflects growing recognition of Reddit's value as a source of high-intent, experience-driven consumer language that curated social feeds cannot replicate.

Reddit enforced usage-based API pricing and rate limits in 2023, creating a two-tier access environment. Official commercial partners with Data API agreements gain legal and data-quality advantages over tools relying on unofficial scraping methods.

Nectar enters a competitive field. Established platforms including Brandwatch, Sprinklr, Meltwater, Sprout Social, and Talkwalker already hold official Reddit Data API access. Nectar's differentiation lies in its AI-native architecture and social commerce focus, connecting community sentiment directly to commercial outcomes at the product level.

Reddit's community conversations are also increasingly cited as a primary input determining which brands surface in AI-powered discovery tools, positioning Reddit data access as a strategic necessity rather than a supplementary research channel.

Nectar Social Background and International Expansion Signals

Nectar Social was founded by Misbah Uraizee and Farah Uraizee, both former Meta product and engineering leaders. The company has raised US$10.6 million in funding co-led by True Ventures and GV (Google Ventures).

Reddit is also expanding non-English data coverage across markets including the UK, France, Brazil, and India, a signal that community-driven consumer intelligence is becoming relevant beyond English-language markets. For brands managing multi-market portfolios across Asia-Pacific, this expansion points toward Reddit data becoming a standard input in regional social intelligence operations.

The partnership is effective immediately following the April 8 announcement.
