Shopee Wins Overall Brand Champion at PR Awards 2026

Shopee won the Overall Brand Champion title at MARKETING-INTERACTIVE's 13th PR Awards, held on April 17, 2026, at Shangri-La Singapore. The eCommerce platform took home eight trophies in total, the highest count among all brand entrants at the ceremony.

Shopee's Eight-Trophy Haul Across Four Campaign Categories

Shopee's winning tally comprised two Gold, five Silver, and one Bronze trophy. The platform competed and won across four distinct campaign areas: cultural preservation, literary community support, consumer safety education, and small business empowerment.

Winning campaigns included "Shopee 10th Anniversary: Keeping Cultures Alive," which earned recognition in the Best Anniversary Campaign category. The Festival Penulis Lokal (Local Authors Festival) supported Indonesia's literary community. The Shopee XTRA AMAN campaign delivered anti-scam education to consumers and was also shortlisted under Best Use of Tech/AI for PR. The Shopee Jagoan UMKM Naik Kelas campaign focused on helping small and medium-sized Indonesian businesses grow.

The awards were judged by 30 senior industry leaders from across the Asia-Pacific region, spanning 42 total categories.

Other Top Brand and Agency Finishers

Geneco placed second overall among brands with two Gold, two Silver, and five Bronze trophies. Recognized campaigns included "Till the End of Time" and "#ForestOfProsperity."

Garnier finished third with four Gold trophies, the highest Gold count among the top three brand finishers. Its campaigns included "Calpis Soda One In A Million" and "Atlas Ecopod: World's Slimmest Reverse Vending Machine with Compaction System."

Other recognized brands at the ceremony included DBS Bank, Grab Philippines, AIA Singapore, Singlife, Johnson and Johnson, Hong Kong Tourism Board, and McDonald's Singapore.

On the agency side, Ampersand Advisory claimed the Overall Agency Champion title with seven Gold, one Silver, and one Bronze trophy across five client campaigns. Those campaigns spanned YTL Corporation, Etika Group of Companies, American Tourister, Maybank, and Ace Canning. Golin placed second with one Gold, three Silver, and one Bronze. Grayling followed in third with one Gold and one Silver.
